Overseas Ambassador Application

We invite those living outwith the UK to become Overseas Ambassadors of the club to help us reach out to those who share our passion for Robert Burns. As an Ambassador representing Greenock Burns Club, you will find yourself in great company. Throughout our 220-year history we have had many famous custodians. These include three earls, one baron, eight lords, one general, twenty knights of the realm, two lt. colonels, one bishop, fourteen professors, nineteen clergymen, two sheriffs, five doctors and two provosts. Our alumni also include such illustrious literati as Sir Compton Mackenzie (author of Whisky Galore), the poet, WD Cocker and Sir JM Barrie (author of Peter Pan).

The fee for Overseas Ambassadorship is £20 or $30 per annum
